I've just decided that I am really really bad at this whole blogging thing. It's only been hmmm nearly 5 months since I last posted anything. To catch up I guess I will start with this semester in school. I took 15 hours this semester which ended up being plenty. Art was easy. Health and Physical Education was a piece of cake. Atmospheric Science was so-so. Geography was harder, but I managed to make A's on all of the tests. I ended up with a 4.0 GPA this semester which puts me on the President's List for all 3 semesters so far! I am a semester ahead because of all the Dual Credit and summer school I took so I am now considered a Junior...WEIRD.

I was incredibly busy this semester with President's Select and Phi Lamb. In November I was selected to travel with PS to Arlington for the Tech vs. Baylor game. We were able to stay at the Gaylord Texan Hotel with all the other 12,000 Red Raider fans which was AWESOME! I think that is probably the coolest hotel I have ever been in. It was all decorated for Christmas and all of the people that worked there wore Tech shirts the whole weekend! We had time to go to the ICE exhibit in the hotel....it was COOL....literally! The day of the game I was at the Cowboys stadium for about 12 hours--10AM to 10PM. My "crew" volunteered to help Baylor (who was the home team) put out all of these WRECK 'EM TECH signs. They were supposed to go in EVERY SEAT IN THE STADIUM. We just got to the first 2 of 4 levels in about 5 hours. Needless to say after that and an only mediocre game I was ready to get the heck out of that stadium! We had to go back the next day for a recruiting event (hence the reason Tech flew us down there in the first place). It went great! Despite all of the work and long hours I am so grateful for the opportunity to go! I had a great time and would love to do it again.

My family is doing great. My brothers are ornery as ever and always seem to be fighting....but I know they love each other! My mom is superwoman I swear! She does EVERYTHING. My dad is always working, of course. If he's not at the office he's at the ranch. If he's at neither of those locations he is out in his barn working on some new project. Speaking of! We have 3 new "residents" in our barn! In October Dad surprised us all when he came back from a bull sale in Throckmorton with 3 colts! So, we now have 6 horses basically living in our backyard. They are so fun! It will be interesting to see how we do in breaking our own horses....AH!

Well....that is all I can remember for now. I'm sure I have left out plenty. I will try to remember to blog more often....but honestly my life is not that interesting. BUSY but not interesting.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! My family is just staying here to be with all of our family...it's my favorite way of doing things!
